Many a Summer Stock, Mural companies and more work outdoors.  Either as part of the paint shop, or  the actual venue

With that comes many additional risks such as sun exposure and the need for proper sunblock and shade.

But the biggest safety issue can be the heat.  We all know to stay hydrated and take more rests. But sometimes it can actually be too hot to work safely.

I just learned that OSHA has an app for that!

It gives guidelines for employers and employees and lots of advice.

I’d love to hear what tips and tricks y’all might have for staying cool and healthy when working outdoors.
