Hello fellow Scenics working in academia!
Next Thurs, July 16th, we have a scheduled webinar/round-table discussion that aims to support educators as we plan syllabi and assignments for the Fall. The timing is serendipitous; SETC has scheduled four free webinars on teaching the day before. (https://www.setc.org/ttc/) They’re specifically focusing on teaching Design and Technical Theatre, but I plan to watch and take notes about what we can implement for Scenic Art classes and use that to guide our discussion on Thurs.
As I prepare the prompts for next week, I’d love to hear what everyone is most interested in talking about. Do you have specific concerns that you’re looking to solve? Or are you more interested in a brainstorming session with peers?
