I’m being asked to paint new plywood for a dance touring show. Very simple treatment, but I’m looking for ideas for the primer / color / sealer that will
1- help to hide the plywood grain, (Primer)
2 – replicate the feel of a marley dance floor for the dancers. (Sealer?) Also hold up with dancing
The finish should be lower sheen.
Would elastomeric be a good idea to thicken the paint in the primer? My instinct is that the primer should be something less mushy and more industrial for underfoot dancing.
Thank you all!
