Question: Is there an “optimum” process or product for sealing and protecting the painted surface from scratches, rubs and wear?

The majority of my work is on canvas — OB base texture then washes of supersat on top. These drops see a lot of heavy use and scratches/wear is simply inevitable, but I’d like to mitigate it as much as possible. I’ve been spraying 2 thin coats of Clear Flat as a final coat, but I’m wondering if there might be a better product or method to get optimum protection without making the drop too stiff or heavy.

    Thank you!

Maybe the varnish from sculptural arts would work better? I haven’t tried that.
