I have to dull a piece of acrylic plexi that is going to be covering a large hole in the deck.

I usually spray an acrylic poly to achieve this.

But that does not hold up to foot traffic. I never had anyone walk on the windows.

Anyone have some other solutions that would hold up for a floor?

      Cheers

        Thinner?

Not sure if the material you are talking about is the same as what I am thinking. However, I used to flame polish acrylic edges and found out the hard way that denatured alcohol cleans well but acetone will cloud the surface just a bit.

What about a light scuff with an abrasive pad?
